ICONS RPG -- Ultra Mind's Nemesis: Calla Thulu

That brain in a jar gets his villain. I’m going with odd Transformed for Ultra Mind.


Role Roll: 8 = Nemesis. That means the hero is Artificial. Bonus: Such as a golem. The character’s Strength is increased by +2 and you may choose Life Support as a bonus power


Attributes Roll:
  • Prowess: 7 = 5
  • Coordination: 6 = 4
  • Strength: 8 = 5 + 2 = 7
  • Intellect: 8 = 5   
  • Awareness: 7 = 5
  • Willpower:  7 = 5

31 > 20. That’s Real Good.

Ok. Not counting Life Support. Let’s find out the now many powers that our robot has. The roll is a 5. That means 3 powers. Let’s find them out:


  • Power #1: Power Group = 7 (Mental); Power = 4 & 6: Possession; Power Level: 6 = 4
  • Power #2: Power Group = 8 (Movement); Power = ....Knock out because of the above power.
  • Power #3: Power Group = 8 (Movement); Power = 3 & 4: Super-Speed; Power Level: 12 = 8

Appearance: Calla Thulu is a tall green humanoid with eight tentacles instead of two arms and two feet usually wearing a red fedora, red blouse, blue jeans, and red combat boot.

Background: A huge truckload of Centuries ago, a group of alien animals that could be consider a mixture of ape and octopus crashed on a very literally backwater planet. Only one creature lived -- Calla Thulu. Her mind was the only wake. One day, a born human named H.P. Lovecraft -- who data almost match Calla -- starting to write his horror tales featuring horror aliens that human couldn’t. His story started to awake up. In the 1980s, a tabletop game started to make a game based on H.P. Lovecraft’s story: “Call of the Cthulhu”. This fully awaken Calla from her slumber. Diamond was the first on the scene. Calla joined Diamond's company -- and waiting for the first time to make a GOOD HOSTILE TAKEOVER of it. While, she’s waiting, she joins superheroes in battling evil.
