ICONS RPG -- The Scarecrowe’s Reflection: Wolva



This time around it’s time for Scarecrow to get his hero. In this case, I’m assuming Transformed.

Role Roll: 12 = Reflection: The villain has the same Origin and powers as the hero—including
abilities above level 6—but differing aspects, and possibly differing descriptions
of the powers’ “special effects”. For example, a hero with Wizardry (Magic) might
have a Reflection who also has Magic, but evil magic rather than good magic. The
villain may choose different Specialties than the hero.

Ok. The following facts are know:

  • Fact #1: The hero is Transformed.
  • Fact #2: His Attributes are following: Prowess = 3; Coordination = 3; Strength = 4; Intellect = 4; Awareness = 7, Willpower = 8
  • Fact #3: The Powers are the following: Animal Control; Immunity; Invulnerability; Life Support; Plant Control; Regeneration.
  • Fact #4: Stamina equals  12
  • Fact #5: Determination Points equals 1

Hmmm. Got a idea.

Appearance: Wolva appears to a large sliver wolf with white eyes wearing a long red dress. Lea Hai appears to a normal Japanese-American with blonde hair and white eyes usually dressed in a sliver shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers.

Background: Wolva history begins in a small California town in near the Oregon border known as Dirtbag. One day, on Halloween night while dressed like a wolf -- Lea Hai, a Japanese-American find gangsters doing some pollution -- who tried to stop them -- but end up falling into some toxic waste. That toxic waste some activated her family’s DNA -- you see Lea Hai come from a family of werewolves. Using her new werewolf -- she found the pollution-making gangster and dropped them off at police station.

Quality: The Super Wolf-Human & Secret Identity: Lea Hai, a everyday young woman.
Challenges: Weakness (Sliver)

ICONS -- RPG: Mr. Sandman's Reflection: Queen Dreama

Mr. Sandman, the psychic trapped in the dream world is next on my hit list.  I’m assuming Transformed for him.

Role Roll: 11 = Reflection: The villain has the same Origin and powers as the hero—including abilities above level 6—but differing aspects, and possibly differing descriptions of the powers’ “special effects”. For example, a hero with Wizardry (Magic) might have a Reflection who also has Magic, but evil magic rather than good magic. The
villain may choose different Specialties than the hero. That means the hero is Transformed, the same Attributes as Mr. Sandman,  and I get 3 Powers as Mr. Sandman. I think I use Queen Dreama for my hero name.

Appearance: Queen Dreama appears to a blonde hair woman with blue eyes dressed in a sliver tiara, blue shirt, blue skirt and sandals. Sandra Magnus appears to a dirty blonde with red eyes dressed in a black blouse with mustard and ketchup stats, ripped blue jeans and brown sneakers that uses velcro instead of shoelaces.

Background: Sandra Magnus was born into a family of large psychic users. The best was her brother, Janus Magus. They was a prophecy that both of them would become rivals with the fate of the Dream World handing in the balance. Most people of the Magus family believed that Sandra would become some sport of mad-scientist that Janus will have to deal with. Thing changed one day when the Warlock appeared. He come to see how power the Magnus’s family psychics were -- and trained them become his replacement -- just in cause of death. Sandra told him that the family psychic power were weaker than his magic. The Warlock laughed -- not for long, since Janus asked to be his one of his servants. After they left, Sandra started to think that Janus will become a problem -- went to colleges to learn how to act. She completely college in recorder time. One day, she found her landlord slept on her table. Using her abilities, she entered.

On arrival in her landlord’s dream, she heard the 1954’s song by the Chordette, “Mr. Sandman”. She used the Dream World to create her Queen Dream costume and force Mr. Sandman out. After leaving the Dream World, she got slipped around the world -- collecting the need outfit for Queen Dream.

Qualities: “Secret Identity, Susan Magus, ‘Mr. Sandman’ web linker” (A web linker is web master that is in charge of page of links that can related or not. In the case of Susan, all of her link are related to Mr. Sandman.) & “The Dream Queen”

Challenges: “Only has one power outside the dream word, Wizard - Psychic Powers at 7”, “Acts like a folklore fairy while in her Queen Dreama costume”, “Vow: Find Janus’s body and lure Mr. Sandman to it.)

ICONS RPG: Rorek the Ice Elf's Opposite: Fryika

ICONS RPG -  Rorek the Ice Elf’s Opposite: Fryika

Since Rex Mundi is one of another one of ICON’s masterminds, I’m going to the next villain, Rorek the Ice Elf. Since he’s a Frost Giant of Norse myth, I have to use Rorek is Unearthly.

Role Roll: 8 = Opposite:  The villain has the same Origin as the hero. Do not roll the villain’s powers. Instead, assign the villain the same number of powers as the hero,
but choose “opposing” powers. So if the hero has Elemental Control (Fire), for
example, the villain could have Elemental Control (Cold) or (Water). The creating
player gets to interpret “opposite” with the GM’s approval.  

Ok. That means we our hero is Unearthly.  Let’s list the powers of Rorek: Cold Control, Dimensional Travel, Immunity to Cold, Strike Device & Super Senses. That’s 5 powers, but before I work on the opposite powers, I’m going with roll for the six attributes. But first the bonus for Unearthly: Increase two of the character’s abilities (your choice) by +2.


  • Prowess: 5 = 4
  • Coordination: 3 = 2
  • Strength: 9 = 6
  • Intellect: 8 = 5
  • Awareness: 9 = 6
  • Willpower: 6 = 5

I decide to wait until I figure out the powers before deciding on where I’m going to use the two +2 on. Let’s do some math

4 + 2 = 6
6 + 5 = 11
6 + 5 = 11
11 + 11 = 22
22 + 6 = 28
28 > 20.  We are good to move on..

Let’s re list the powers: Cold Control, Dimensional Travel, Immunity to Cold, Strike Device & Super Senses.

  • Power #1:  I’m going with Fire Control at the same level as Rorek has it.
  • Power #2: I’m going with Dimensional Travel as the same level as Rorek has it.
  • Power #3: Immunity to Heat that is automatic 10.
  • Power #4: A Fire Hammer (Strike Device) at the same level as Rorek’s ice sword.
  • Power #5: Super-Senses -- Magic, Light to go with same level as Rorek’s super senses.


Getting bore of hunting through the fire deities on Wikipedia.  I decide to make a fictional goddess. Fryika

Appearance is the following: Fryika appears a tall woman with red hair and red eye dressed in a red blouse, a long red dress, and some red combat boots.

Background is as followed: n another dimensional, Fryika was the fire god for much of the dinosaurs and follow them -- their human descents. On day, a meteorite destroyed that Earth completely.. Fryika was picked by her follow deities in go through the multiverse to find another Earth. She come to ICON’s main universe after a few non-Earth universes and start fighting crime.

Forget about these.

# of Specialities: 6 = 2 Specialities. I picking Power (Fire Control) & Power (Dimensional Travel) as her specialities.

I can roll twice. Let’s find out the two numbers.

4 = Intellect & 6 = Willpower.  Both are 5 right now, so that turns them into 7. 7 + 7 = 14. 14 is Fryika’s Stamina.

Determination Points Math Time: 6 = 2 (For the two attributes over 7) = 4 - 5 (For the powers) = -1 < 0. We do have a minimum of 1 Determination Points.

Qualities are: “Calm” & “Long fuse”
Challenge is: “No Secret Identity”
