Mythic View: 75. No. So it's a unearthly hero. I think I bring in Mergel in – which I had roll up on a “Let's Play” over in TV Tropes's Live Blogging sector. Here's Mergel's full stats:

Background: "On our earth, the first fish to see land lost his tails but gained arms and legs. On one Earth, the fish didn't lost his tail – leading almost every humaniod here having a tail – similar to how we view mermaid. While the monkeys are still in the pre-stone age – the mermaids were in medieval type of period. When, we were dealing with World War II, he mermaids of this world were in their Information Age. Now that we are in the Information Age, the world of the mermaid were in the Far Future age. The Mermaid Council picked Kingi Gakin as their hero. He promised to be on his best behavior. Surprising, after Kingi Gakin's Earth arrival – a twin storm on both Earth and their Earth damaged their H.E.V.W (Humanoid Earth Villain Watch) computer. Their janitor, Tinara Jorin thought Kingi wasn't behaving as he promised– and bugged them to fix the computer. The Mermaid Council didn't believe her. So he send a few months repairing the computer. Surprising, he turned it on – she saw Kingi Gakin fighting against other heroes. She sent the videos to the member of the Mermaid Council – who were shocked. She volunteered to head to our Earth and make sure to punish Kingi for his rotten behavior. The Mermaid Council agreed. On arrival, Tinara was arrested by a hot head police officer. Soon after, the Police Commissioner free her – as she wasn't the mer-creature that police ready wanted. They wanted Mermonster – a.k.a Kingi Gakin. Tinara had decide to become Mergel (Combination of the word of Mermaid + Angel) to fight against any evil that threats the Earth. The police – even the officer that was hot head approve of it."

Appearance: "Tinara/Mergel appears a long blonde hair and blue eye mermaid with a long green tail dressed in a long white blouse."

Mergel was swimming in the lake. The park was fill with people – only a few where waking Mergel – but those were tots compare the rest of the people in the park.

Mergel asked, “Hey,, Ruby, what can I do for you?”

Ruby answered as she show Mergel the magic pearl necklace with two pearls missing “Onyx pull a crime recently, I found this in the armor truck used for a crime.”

Mergel look at it and said, “Sorry, but I never saw that kind of pearl before.” ¹

Ruby said, “So I reach a dead end?”

Mergel said, “I'm think so.”

Ruby said, “I try another path.”

Mergel said, “Good luck!”

Ruby added, “....I'm going to need it.”

Page #3: Ruby checks the cars for clues.

As she approached the armored car and police car used in Onyx, Ruby spot some one familiar to her face, Jessica Elfstone. The college age kid was dressed in a yellow sweater, blue jeans, and white boots.
Ruby smirked “Jessica, that sweater matches your hair.”

Jessica rub her blonde hair with her left hand as said, “Thanks.” Jessica paused, “So Ruby, what's flourishing?”

Ruby said,”Onyx has crawled out what ever rock she been hiding under. I come here to check the cars used in the crime.”

Ruby decided to search the armor car for clues and she found four possible clues. ¹ The first possible clue was a old magic wizard's transporting pearl necklace with two of it's pearls missing. ² The second possible clue was a letter from a powerful Los Angeles gangster telling his kid to leave Los Angeles for ever.³ The third possible clue was a blood soaked letter from the Black Hoods, a well-known crime originals going back to the time of the Roman empire. ⁴ The final possible clue was a scholarship with

the words: “Not Renew: On Prior Issues”.⁵

Jessica whistled, “That's a carload of possible clues.”

Ruby nodded as she said, “Well, I got a lot to go. We need to pick one clue and see if one of them leads to Onyx.”

Jessica added, ”Or you patrol until you find another Onyx crime in progress.”

Ruby said, “That's a good one, sidekick.”

Jessica's face blushed as red as her iris in her eyes.

It's mid-day and despite the light snow covering the city in Christmas season snow, the sun was shining. Ruby was walking instead of her usual of burrow. As she walk by the World Art Galley, Ruby saw police officers talking

One of them said, “That was classic crime.”

Another one said, “She must have took lessons in the art of crime.”

Ruby asked, “What happen here?”

A tall bald fat man with black eye dressed in a plain blue blouse and blue jeans said, “Now Officer Bone and Officer House, I got all the information from the witness to Onyx's crime. Officer Bone take them back to the station, I go over witness information when I get back. Officer House, I want you to talk to Diamond and tell her that Onyx is back in time. Now, get going or I going to place you back on traffic patrol!!” He turns to see Ruby¹, his eye sparking, “Well, I thought you might be on date with Saguaro, Ruby.”

Ruby laughed asked said, “So what's happen, Officer.....?

The plain-dressed police said, “...Sgt. Noah Body, in charge of police's department's Super-Villain Crime Section. It's seems Onyx wasn't kill when she fall off that cliff while battle All-American Girl six months – but this crime puzzle me. Here's what went down as far as we know: A armor car smashed into the roof. A police car followed – which forced all people out of the building. The armor car and police car drove out and around to the back. Then Onyx, the Machine Mistress, transported all the artwork from the building, while she was being guarded by her henchman.”

Ruby asked, “Well, mine if I take a whack?”

Sgt. Noah Body said, “I don't care if you use a lawn mower. The cars used in the crime are still in the back. ”

Page #1: Onyx sees a interview with Diamond declares Onyx to be dead from a battle with a previous superhero.

Since this is the start of the issue, the chaos roll is 5. I roll a 8 on a d10. That means this is normal page.

A click of a remote turn on the television to Taiyni Crzabasky's favorite network channel.

A regular handsome male¹ reporter is standing on roof the United Network Building. The reporter is holding a microphone with the logo of “Breakfast News” TV show.

The reporter looks into the camera and said, “Gerald Bookstone will be coming by to see how the who the Holiday Shopping forecast will look by taking a look at what last happen on last week's on Black Friday.” He pauses as the camera turns from the reporter to to the sky – showing a blue streak of color. The reporter said, “I have a reason to be on the roof town as the most favorite superhero in the world is coming in for a visit, Diamond.”

Diamond lands appearing to her usual self – a tall blonde hair and blue eye woman dress in twin diamond earrings, a white tights, blue cape, and a pair of red boots. Diamond said in a cherry voice, “Seasons Greetings, Kevin Snew.”

Kevin, the reporter was blushing as the camera turn on. “Same to you, Diamond. Anything new plan for this season?”

Diamond said,”Yes. The video game maker, “Super Study” video game, make a deal with me for the rights to make a “Diamond” game where the teenagers can play as me and battle against some of my most famous villain such as Powermaster, Troll, Recluse and Onyx.”

Kevin asked, “Speaking of Onyx. She had a run in with All-American Girl six month back but they had been no sign of her since. What do you think happen to her?”

Diamond said, “They were fighting on cliff over looking the ship. Those sharp rocks must have make her look like Swiss Cheese.”

Kevin asked “Dead?”

Diamond said, “Of course – and if she's dead, I don't have to worry about it.....”

A bullet from a gun was shot at the television as a female voice said, “Dead? Well, I'm your Ghost of Christmas Past, Diamond.” She paused and turn on her speaking phone, “Have the entertainment crew get a new television up to my office ….. the old one had bitten the bullet.” The last word was say as Taiyni Crzabasky yank the white sunglasses off her face. She paused again and walk to a closet where a long black dress hanged up. Taiyni said, “Onyx is back in business.” Evil laughter filled the room.

The following is my superhero genre table I going to be using for Ruby's battle against Onyx

• 1-5 = Remote Event
  • This means the heroes are not present for the event in question.)
• 6-10 = Introduce a Friendly NPC (Family, friends, co-workers, superheroes on your side, retired super-villain, regular city citizens, etc.)
  • This means that a new good NPC. If it's a Superhero, I do the creation for the superhero as in ICON's rule book.
• 11-20 = Introduce a Not-So Friendly NPC (henchmen, monsters, and super-villains)
  • This means doing a new. If it's a super-villain, I will be working on roll up his plot and his origin similar to the super-power.
• 26-30 = Move away a thread
  • This moves to give problems to the thread in question
• 31-33 = Go toward a thread
  • Give PC help to close a thread
• 34-36 = Close A Thread
  • Get rid of a thread.
• 37-38 = PC Negative
  • The PC gets into a issue where he gets into trouble.
