Character Creation Challenge 2024: #32 = “Behind the Scenes”

 It is time to look behind the scenes for 2024’s “Character Creation Challenge”.

The writing began in early November 2023, when Tardis Captian posted the Character Creation Challenge. I started with my usual all-tabletop roleplaying games allowed in the business, but when I got to my 12th character out of 31 characters, I got a case of writer's block. So I switched to one of my favorite tabletop roleplaying games: “Cartoon Action Hour”. I used Season 3 as it is the most recent season (read: edition) of the formerly mentioned tabletop roleplaying game.

I still have to change how the text looks because if I copy the text straight from Google Documents the text goes straight off the Blogger page.

▢ #8: Tenshi “Princess Dream” Akuma for “The Girls of Dream Park Japan” = I wanted to do anime and still something related to the “Dream Park: The Roleplaying Game” while still using only “Cartoon Action Hour: Season 3”.

▢ #9: Princess Nightmare for “The Warriors Of Cosmos” 

▢ #10: Rydia Rough for “Punk Rock Saves The World” = The first name of this character comes from my favorite character of “Final Fantasy 2 a.k.a 4”: Rydia, the summoner from the Village of Mist.

▢ #11: Mydria for “Wastleland 2012”

▢ #12: Princess Zana for “The Vampire World”

▢ #13: Aelita Scheaffer for “Dark Brigade” = I got two facts about this character for you guys and girls as the case might be -- which are the following: #1) I wanted to do something related to horror since 13 is considered unlucky, &#2) The name of the character was stolen from the same name character from “Code Lyoko.”

▢ #14: Eris for “Super League” = 

▢ #15: Aelita Anderson for “Aelita Anderson” = Wonder what is the comic company that hates fanworks well click this sentence to find out.

▢ #16: Cassandra Craft for “Cosmic Horror Hunters”

▢ #17: Moon Mistress for “S.L.A.M.”

▢ #18: Thomas Train for “Tin Justice”

▢ #19: G.G. for ““Infinivaders”

▢ #20: Persephone for “The Super Battle Brothers”

▢ #21: Aquawater the Mermaid Master for “The Mighty Mirror Masters”

▢ #22: Shika for “Shika”

▢ #23: Cassandra Cheese for “The Crusaders of Sarillon” = The outfit for Cassandra was based on the outfit worn by Mitzi Mozzarella of the “Rockafire Explosion” with a C replacing Mitzi’s M.

▢ #24: Diana Cord for “The Brutaliods” = I was going to “Asgard 300” here but I posted the wrong guidelines -- so I switched gears to this series.

▢ #25: Cassandra for “The Elf Team” = Originally, I wanted to do Santa Claus for this spot with an image of him from one of those new Art AIs that have popped up on the Internet with him being labeled as a Guest Star since 25th of December marks Christmas Day -- but I changed it to one of his female Christmas Elves.

▢ #26: Mei Ling-Chang for “Asgard 300”  = Originally, this character would be one at #24 spot.

▢ #27: Patrik “Pumpkin” Potluck for “Ghost Patrol”

▢ #28: Cassandra Aelita Anderson for “Cassandra, the Tabletop Roleplaying Game Master” = I use Cassandra

▢ #29: Angel Show a.k.a “Ice Snow” 

▢ #30: Raven a.k.a “Castle & Caverns” = I didn’t know I made two characters for “Castle & Cavern” until I did this “Behind the Scenes” business -- and both Raven and Muse are female bards -- thought Raven is a human that uses a harp and Muse is an elf that uses a flute.

▢ #31: Mei “Dragon” Ling-Ching for “The Dragon Truck Driver”

Well, I don’t know if I’m going to do one of the following until we get to November 2024: Redoing what I did for January 2025 or returning the usual anything goes for January 2025.

I had started making character just a little bit after Tardis Captain posted the thread about it on RPG.Net. I will post each character for

[April Fool's Day] Time For Some News!

Got some truckload of news for you guys:

• Anime:
• The main characters of Toei's "Miraculous Ladybug" anime have been revealed.
• The heroes are the following: Marrinette "Ladybug" Dupin-Chang, Adrain "Chat Noir", Alya "Rena Rouge" Cessaire, Chloe "Princess Bee" Burgolis, & Nino "Carapace" Lifhee
• The villains are Hawk Moth & Mayura.
• Books:
• Someone is writing the "Snakiods" where the Snakiods are telling the true story of their wars on Earth with some evil teenage bullies and their rotten alien leader. A reverse of the "Animorph" series.
• Someone has released the first book of the series known as "The Kids of Dream Park Japan", a story about a group of teenage gamers facing the Games of the Game Domes of Dream Park Japan, one of the theme parks in the world of the "Dream Park" novels written by Larry Niven and Steve Burnes.
  
• Someone is writing a book featuring the case of MST3K.which deals with Princess or one of her decent sending the crew of SOL bad books
• She can't send them the good stuff become Dr. Forrester shields the SOL with the No-Good Shield.
• Comic Books:
• DC Comics and Marvel Comics have agreed to create "Crisis of Infinite Earth II" a major event that will affect all of the superhero comic books they publish for 2 years.
• Computer Games:
• A new company, "Retro Love", has its hand on the "Carmen Sandiego" franchise.
• Europe Animated Cartoons:
• "Miraculous -- Tales of Persphone" is being made by a London studio with the "OK" of Jeremy Zag of Zagtoon.
• Someone had gotten a full summary of 6 revealing Chloe has become Medusa and Lila is Persphone and members of Ladybug's team -- and Timetagger was just a trick the future Miraculous team played by "Minibug, Kity Noir, & Hawky" to use Buinnix's nicknames.
• "Hawky" is Bunnix's nickname for "Hawk Moth"
• Another company is doing a reboot of "Code Lyoko"
• Food:
• Both Pepsi and Coke have introduced Blizzard-like things in bottles in the store. Food reviewers say they are "Awesome!" 
• Tabletop Roleplaying Game:
• The Light Dice Company has gotten full rights to "Big Eyes, Small Mouth", "Dream Park: The Roleplaying Game", and all of the games by Pallidum Games.

Character Creation Business: Behind the Scenes

  Well, for the January of 2021, I was working on Creation Creation Business for every day of January on my tabletop game blog, “Flubs and Boons”.

The first seven were all written on the same day, January 7, 2012

□ Character #1: 17th Century Minimalist (Penny) = The name of the character came from the girl from the DiC’s cartoon know as “Inspector Gadget”.

□ Character #2: Advanced Fighting Fantasy Second Edition (Nograd Yrestym) = The name of the character is “Mystery Dragon” spelled backward.

□ Character #3: Amazing Tales (Aelita) = The name of the character comes from a character in “Code Lyoko”.

□ Character #4: Basic Action Super Heroes (Hydra) = My first superhero business.

□ Character #5: Big Eyes Small Mouth 4th Edition (Hikaru Mushina) = My first animated character. Anime is just another word for animated series a.k.a a cartoon.

□ Character #6: Boot Hill 3rd Edition (Flint Stone) = The reason is I reference some throwing a cow at me is that when you merge Flint Stone’s name together you get Flintstone – the last name of a famous cartoon caveman: Fred Flintstone.

□ Character #7: Call of Cthulhu (Cassandra Claws) = On this one, I got a comment from TardisCaptain, the guy behind the Creation Creation Business that I was evolved in thanking me for joining in.

Since I was written this stuff while a nasty virus that was causing havoc on the entire Earth – I tried to get head at least by a week or so when I have time from other business at my workplace or at home –so when and if I work at my office far from my home, I could just pop a character up on my blog in my blog and save writing new characters for the days.

□ Character #8: Capes, Cowls, and Villains Foul (Eris) = My first deal with a tabletop game from Spectrum Games, the company run by the Cartoon Mistress, Cynthia Celeste Miller.

□ Character #9: Cartoon Action Hour: Season Three (Inspector Nickel) = The following is straight from my blog post on this business: “After PopArena did his Nick Knacks on the classic 1980’s action-comedy cartoon, “Inspector Gadget”, I got a question in my mind, “What happens if Penny was a more serious Inspector Gadget herself?”

□ Character #10: Dream Park (Aelita Anderson a.k.a Kimberly) = Like Character #3, the first name was stolen from a character of the same from “Code Lyoko”.

□ Character #11: Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition (Zaratina a.k.a Princess Aelita) = Of course for Zartian’s fake otherworld elf name, I took the name of a character from “Code Lyoko” like Character #3 and Character #10.

□ Character #12: Faery Tale (Sun)

□ Character #13: GURPS 4th Edition (Amy Stock) = I had to take a snapshot of a skill table to help me work on Amy’s skills – other than that, I didn’t need too much help for a character here.

The next two characters were for different editions of the same game, “ICONS: Superpowered Role-Playing”. Both versions use random rolls to create the heroes.

□ Character #14: Adamant Entermaintent’s edition of “ICONS” (Cassie Smith a.k.a Cordia)

□ Character #15: Ad Infinium Adventures’s edition of “ICONS” (Jessica Night a.k.a Ninja)

After those two characters above, I went back to the normal business.

□ Character #16: It Come From The Late, Late Show (Aelita Piano) = One again like Character #3, Character #10, & Character #11, I stole the first name of the character from the character with the same first name from “Code Lyoko”.

□ Character #17: Cartoon Action Hour: Season 2 (Aelita Stone) = This time is the first time I stole one of the full names of the same character of “Code Lyoko” for character plus it’s also the first time that I went back an edition of a tabletop role-playing game.

□ Character #18: Meddling Kids (Cassie Cave) = This is the rarest game I have in both book and PDF form.

□ Character #19: Mutants and Mastermind Third Edition (Angelica).

□ Character #20: Open Legend RPG (Messila)

□ Character #21: On The Air (George Grave) = Another one of Spectrum Games’s tabletop game.

□ Character #22: Cartoon Action Hour: Season 1 (Aelita) = Like Character #3, Character #10, Character #11, Character #16, & Character #17, I stole the name of the character from the same-named character from “Code Lyoko”.

□ Character #23: Savage World Adventure Edition (Johana Jackson)

□ Character #24: Hero System Sixth Edition (Eris) = I think I got the skill business wrong – but I’m not 100% sure, so don’t quote me on that!

□ Character #25: Slasher Flick (Donna Winters) = This is another one of Spectrum Games’s games.

□ Character #26: RetroStar (Marina) = This character was the last of the character created for one of Spectrum Games’s tabletop games.

□ Character #27: Primetime Adventures (Lady Minvera” = I think it took 3 pulls of cards to come up with “Arthura”, the fictional television series that Lady Minvera was a cast member of – but I’m not 100% sure on that one, so don’t quote me on that one.

□ Character #28: QAS (Aelita Scheffer) = Like Like Character #3, Character #10, Character #11, Character #16, & Character #17, I stole the full name of one of the names of the same name character from “Code Lyoko” for this character.

□ Character #29: “Toon” (Princess Cassandra)

□ Character #30: PDQ (John Dome)

□ Character #31: FATE Condensed (Laxartavia the Traitor.)

And with that FATE character finished I was done about a week before the end of January.

The reason I do this was to make sure that I kept my “Google Drive” active.

[April Fools Day!] Shocking Collection of News!

Long time, no type, guys and girls that are on the net 24-7.  Well, I have been really busy with real life of late. I just recently found a video buried in YouTube. In this one, an America had reported what is some powerful news.

• Nintendo has brought the classic Mega Man game system from Capcom. Nintendo has announced Mega Man 12 for the Nintendo Switch. 
• Sony announced that they are creating a new Sly Cooper for the PlayStation 4. The game follows up the secret film in "Sly Coopers: Thieves in Time" that you are rewarded for getting 100%.  
• Warner Bros is stopping all non-animated movies until can figure out what is wrong with their live-action movies. They will not make any live-action movie until 2022. 
• GameFreak announced that the "Pokemon" game for the Nintendo Switch is "Pokemon Remix" -- which is a puzzle game that features scenes of "Pokemon" from all handheld games from the Red and Blues day to the recent games of Sun and Moon -- similar Nintendo's NES Remix business.
• Spectrum Games has announced "RetroStar: The Next Decade"  which covers the live-action sci-fi series of 1980. In related news, "Beyond the 1980's" for "Cartoon Action Hour" has been released -- to allow you to play cartoon series from the before and after the 1980s.
• Evil Hat Inc. has announced they got the right to Pandahead Productions' "Meddling Kids" game. They are working on a Fate version of the game.

• I also got Darth Vader from this playset as a figure.
