Character Creation Business #16: It Comes From The Late, Late Show

 “It Comes From Late, The Late Show” is an RPG where you create actors that play roles in what you might call be B movies. 

Step #1 is the Actor’s Basic Abilities. To find the number, you roll 4 ten-sided dice or 4d10 in RPG talk. The five basic abilities are the following: Build, Dexterity, Brains, Looks, & Fame. The following are my rolls for them.:

• Build’s Roll: 25

• Dexterity’s Roll: 20

• Brains’s Roll: 31

• Looks’s Roll: 22

• Fame’s Roll: 15

Step #2 is getting Survival Points by adding Build + Fame to get them. Let’s plug my actor’s in. 25 + 15 = 40 Survival Points for my actor.

Step #3 is the gender of the actor. Time to bring in “Mythic”. Question #1: Is our actor a male? My View: 50/50. Mythic View: 78. No. Our actress is female.

Step #4 is our actress’s name. Question #2: Does our actress’s name start with A? My View: 50/50. Mythic View: 7. Exceptional Yes. Her name is Aelita Piano. 

Step #5 is appearance, I’m going with the following: “Aelita Piano is your normal Cassusian woman about 5 1/2 foot and about 125 lbs around the age of 25 with blonde hair and blue eyes usually dressed in a purple blouse, blue jeans, a pair of white socks, and pair of purple woman loafers when not in a costume for a movie role.”

Step #6 is Motivation. Aelita’s motivation is the following: “Become the President of The United States of America.”

Step #7 is Personality. Aelita’s Personality is the following: “When not in a role for a movie, Aelita is charming to those who treat her nicely and a ruthless prankster to those who treat her like dirt. In a role, Aelita goes for strong for her character’s role.”
