ICONS Super-Villain: Onyx

Thanks to a post on RPG.Net, I have got The Villainomicon. Since she doesn't have a enemy to deal with – I use the The Villainomicon to decide the villain for Dr. Elaine Queen's Ruby.

STEP #1: Villain’s Role

They are four types of roles for Villains: Adversary, Nemesis, Opposite, & Reflection. I need a roll a two d6s to find out that. I roll a 4. That means the villain is Adversary and how to the same thing I did to create Ruby yesteryear

STEP #2: Origin

Our villain's origin is a Gimmick villain. Gimmick means: The character’s powers all come from devices of some kind. One of the character’s mental abilities (your choice) is increased by +2

STEP #3: Abilities

Time for Abilities rolls. I need to use two d6 to find out those abilitiy's power level.

• Prowess: 10 = 6
• Coordination: 8 = 5
• Strength: 3 = 2
• Intellect: 5 = 4
• Awareness: 8 = 5
• Willpower: 7 = 5

Let's find out if this guy's good enough to past 20. 6 + 5 = 11 + 2 = 13 + 4 = 17 + 5 = 22 + 5 = 27. Since metal abilities, I'm thinking of upping intellect....that means that it will become a 6.

STEP #4: Powers

Time to find out how many powers this vile male or female has....



Number of Powers: 4 = Two powers. Just what I always wanted. NOT!!!! Let's find out what's is powers are.

• 12 = Sensory. Power: 2 & 4 = Supersenses. Power Level: 4 = 3. Type of Supersenses: 2 = Additional. I'm going with superpower hunter – a small machine that hunts any non-defensive or non-mental super-power in use.
  
• 6 = Defensive. Power: 1 & 1 = Force Field – Holy Sliver-Age Brainic, Superman! This guy has a belt-size force field on his person. How how power is this force field? Power Level: 8 = 5.
  

STEP #5: Specialties

Roll: 5 = 2 Specialties to decide on.

What would make senses to this evil dude or dudettes?

• Business = I'm starting to think one of Brandi “Diamond” Czabasky's old family member had a good business mind but when he saw the Diamond’s book he become mad at her – so he started a rival company. This one on Expert.
• Mechanics = I think he needs to build or repair other villains machines. This one is also on Expert.

STEP #6: Stamina

It's all downhill from here. Now I add is Strength of 2 to his will power of 5 for a Stamina's number which is 7. Don't mean Determination as he's a villain. Now for..........

STEP #7: Background, Appearances and Name

I decide to name the villain: Onyx after the famous black material using in jeweling making and making her real name as Taiyni Crzabasky.

Appearance: As Taiyni, she appears to look a red hair woman with red eyes dressed in a white sunglasses with black lens, a full white business suit and a pair of white high tops. Her hair is usual in a ponytail. As Onyx, she appears to a red-hair evil twin of Diamond, dressed in a long black dress and a a pair black high-top, on her wrist is her Super Power Hunter and around her waist is her Force Field Belt. Her red hair is let down.

Background: Taiyni Crzabasky had decide to pay a visit to her cousin's, Brandi “Diamond” Crzabasky, main company. Her arrival matched a period of time where Diamond was in Hollywood, California and the end of evil water creature's flood. Since most of Diamond's worker were still trapped on the roof of their mansions –Taiyni was able to explore every bit of Diamond's company with out any eyeballs on here– and discover that Diamond was getting her hands dirty in criminal world.

The first person to return to Diamond’s company was the namesake herself. Taiyni willpower against Diamond's bad actions. Diamond decide that she could her as a second Powermaster and brought the old Powermaster armor. They was a problem. Powermaster weight a ton and half – and Taiyni couldn't lift it.

Taiyni left...but she know if she told the press or police – no one in their right minds would believe her.....she decide to become a fake super-villain.

At the present, Onyx is making doing as almost as good as Diamond – money wise. Diamond had imprisoned Onyx many time, but like the other real superheroes and real super villains in the world, Diamond has no clue that Onyx is Taiyni, her cousin. The Police are confused a lot when Taiyni shows up in Onyx's jail cell. Most superhero and super-villain believes that Onyx is a mirror universe double of Diamond.

STEP #8: Qualities and Challenges

Time for some Qualities:

• Identity: mousy business woman. = Since she kept her Taiyni and Onyx personality separate – she can easy hide with the plan folks.
  
• Epithet: The Machine Mistress = Villains come afar a while for her to build a machine they can't do or repair one of their own.
  

Now for Challenges:

• Rival: Diamond – Of course, saying”Diamond is not happy with Onyx” is like saying “the ocean is wet.”
  
• Social: Confused by public for a mirror universe Diamond = This makes Taiyni angry.

SOME ADVENTURE IDEAS:

• Four Mirror Heroes chasing after Mirror Villains that escape from their Mirror Universe from the Mirror Universe. The Mirror Villains match the PCs, but three of the Master Hero matches three familiar villain: Hornhead (use Troll's stats), Magistrate (use's Warlock stats) and Octocop (use The Ocofather's stats) changing their qualities and challenges to hero types. The leader is Jewel – which happens to the real mirror image of Diamond. The appearance of Jewel will annoyed both Onyx and Diamond. Jewel will help in the battle, but she's worry on Coal (Onyx's mirror image) finding the machine and doing a disassemble of it. Coal's real goal was to get enough chaos energy a power machine to overlap the PC heroes' universe and the mirror universe. In the end, it's been a real battle royal with cheese between the heroes, their mirror images, the villains that the Mirror Heroes are based, Diamond, Jewel, Onyx and Coal.
• Onyx and some of the heroes has been stealing stuff related to human. This is confusing as Onyx is a technology machine. The real thing is that X and Onyx are sharing a body. Onyx had make deal with X to give him a new body – though it's going to turn out to a human size robot –but X doesn't give a hoot about what body he wants.
• Diamond finally cross the line from playing fake semi-hero into a real villain. Onyx is mad but she only built weapons or armor for her contests– so he turns to some who had cross both with Diamond before and has similar M.O (Modus operandi – Mode Of Operation) to herself – Smith to turn Diamond’s company into a death trap while dressed as Onyx. It's a win-win-win for Onyx. If the PCs beat Smith's Onyx and Diamond, Taiyni will be happy to give a good enough of cash to the PCs. The PCs or Diamond get killed during the battle or by the death traps – Onyx is happy with the death traps and may hired Smith in more often.. If the PCs discover Smith play acting as Onyx. They may view Onyx as another one of Smith's identity if had run in with Smith before.,
• Rexi Mundi and Tempus Khan are annoying the heck of Onyx. Not for machines or repair of machines – but giving her a fight. When the PC heroes arrive they discover some apprizes – Troll had defeat Tempus Khan, and Warlock sent Rexi Mundi into hiding and Onyx is tired but fine. Tempus Khan has a broken face. Everyone even the Warlock is surprise to see Onyx's own face staring back. Another Tempus Khan shows up, unmasked himself as PC's (Gimmick PCs are the best type) and explains about a parallel universes. Tempus Khan takes the PC, the second to the Onyx's Tempus Khan time-line – revealing her history – much to our universe's Onyx dismay. Will the heroes believe Tempus Khan about Onyx's history – and if they do, what would do about Onyx's fake super-villain actions?
